I have a passion for Thailand - I've been here numerous times over the last few years so I'm well-qualified!
I'll be able to provide you with information about where to go and what to see, depending on how much time you have. And I'll be truthful! If I don't like a place, I'll tell you. Perhaps you'll like it for the reason I don't!
All the time I'll be taking pictures of Thailand, whether of the hustle and bustle of Bangkok, a crumbling Chiang Mai temple, the peaceful north east region or simply photos of Thailand people.
I'll give you detailed information about accommodation in Thailand, whatever your budget, whether you're backpacking Thailand in cheap guesthouses, staying mid-range or wanting a luxury hotel.
I'll often provide photos of the hotel or guest house, like on this page. And I'll provide you with a good clear map of Thailand and the cities, towns, villages and islands. This and much more. So sit back, relax and get prepared!
My website has nearly 300 pages but I'm still in the early stages, so if you find that a place you're interested in isn't included on the site, return from time to time and you'll see I'm always updating.
I'm currently writing and drawing maps about Bangkok.
ABOUT ME
My name is Iain. I'm from England, about 100 kilometers north of London, in rural Buckinghamshire. I first came to Asia in 2003 and liked it so much I now spend most of my time here.
I taught English in Vietnam for a few years before deciding that I'd love to work at something I really enjoy - travel! I also enjoy playing many sports and since being in Asia have become interested in awareness....if you're interested, greatfreedom.org is very supportive. I love to walk and explore, which helps when it comes to making maps for a travel site!
The more time I spend in Thailand, the more I like it, which hasn't been the case with some of the countries close by! On top of the opportunities for adventure and its intriguing culture, it has an amazingly laid-back feel to it. Come and see for yourself!
