The Chiang Mai White House - A very Popular Guesthouse for Travelers.

The Chiang Mai White House, which opened in 1999, has a busy feel to it....it's a popular place, great for sharing stories with other travelers. Situated on tranquil Ratchadumnern Soi 5 Road (with its many cooking schools), the guesthouse is a stones throw away from the famous Sunday Market walking Street.

There are 21 rooms. For 250 Thai baht a night, you can have a room with fan, 300 baht for a fan and TV and 400 baht for an air-conditioned room with TV...all rooms have private bathroom with hot shower.

The owner (pictured) was a friendly man who promises to send me pictures of the rooms when he's finished redecorating them!
