Deejai Backpacker - A Budget Guesthouse in Chiang Mai's Old City.

Deejai Backpacker, a new Chiang Mai hostel which first opened its doors in 2008, has a great location near the center of the old city, within Chiang Mai's famous moat. It's also a short walk to famous Wat Phra Singh and a lovely park called Suan Bauk Haad where many practice Tai Chi in the morning.

A fan room here costs 250 Thai Baht a night - for a room with Air Conditioning and TV, you'll pay 400 baht. A stay in a dormitory is 150 baht a night. All rooms, including the dormitory, have hot water toilets/shower inside.

There's also free wifi internet in the rooms and lobby area for your laptop. Security is good here - there's CCTV and a safe deposit locker for your valuables.
