Grace House - A Traveler's Favorite With its Spacious Rooms for just $4 US

The rooms here (particularly at the back) are gloriously quiet....Staying here, I was often woken by the birds singing in the morning. Rooms are quite large and prices are very reasonable - 150 baht a night for a single, 200 baht for double. Toilets with hot water are inside the room.

There's a fun whiteboard and pen on the stairs where travelers can write tips about anything....I remember a popular tip - 'fill up your water bottle from the water machine outside for just 1 baht and save buying plastic bottles!' Another: "Be Mindful'.

Downstairs is a very popular restaurant open from 7am - 8pm. I often ate here...the food is excellent...the portions are large with lots of fresh looking vegetables....go for the green curry with brown rice or fried brown rice with vegetables
