The big draw for Jay Guest House is its rooms for 100 baht ($3 US) in the low season between May and October. Chiang Mai accommodation is cheap but this is really cheap!

Rooms are small but clean. There are 12 rooms with 2 toilets/showers outside the rooms with hot water. There's a lively restaurant downstairs serving Pad Thai (a Thai noodle dish) for 50 baht and Red Curry for 70 Baht.

Between May and October, the price is 100 baht fore a single room, 150 baht for a double. In the high season, between November and April, the price is 150 baht for a single, 250 baht for a double. The guesthouse is on quite a busy road (well, busy for Chiang Mai, not really busy!), opposite Wat Chiang Man, the oldest temple in Chiang Mai.
