Map Thailand - Here is a larger map of the country in case you were having difficulty seeing the smaller map.

Some nice places, not mentioned on the map.......

Other great places are Mae Hong Son in the north-west near to Pai in 'hill-tribe' country!

The old city of Ayutthaya really should be highlighted with its vast temple park and just a 20 baht (1 US dollar= 35 baht), 90 minute train journey from Bangkok.

Laid Back Lampang and 'Bridge over the River Kwai' Kanchanaburi are interesting to visit too.

In the university town of Khon Kaen. in the east you can see what Thailand is like minus the tourists!

And take time to visit peaceful Nong Khai on the banks of the majestic Mekong River. (I forgot to place the marker dot on the map for Nong Khai! - it should be right at the end of the road, on the border with Laos).
