SB House - A Friendly Place Run By a Nice Thai Couple

SB House is in a nice, quiet area in the old city area of Chiang Mai, easy for walking to many Chiang Mai attractions such as the Sunday market, Wat Phra Singh and Wat Chedi Luang.

There are 20 rooms. A fan room with TV and hot water with private bathroom costs 200 Thai baht a night. A room with air-conditioning, a fridge and TV costs 400 Thai baht a night.

Best of all, if you're staying for a month or longer, you can stay in the fan room for just 2,000 baht (less than 2 US dollars a day!) and the air-conditioned room for 4,500 baht a month.
