The Garden Chiang Mai - a friendly guesthouse in a great location

The Garden Chiang Mai is owned by Tim, a fellow Brit who, judging by our long conversation, has a lot of time for people. As you can see from the photos below the rooms (only 3 here so be quick!) are large and well furnished.

A twin room costs 500 baht a night, a large, 700 baht. The guesthouse has a great location - almost exactly in the center of the moat. It's on the famous Sunday market walking street so you won't have to look on a map to find the market! There's free wifi in the rooms and in the large garden bar/restaurant area outside which serves Thai and Western food for between 40-80 baht.

There's also an Italian expresso machine for coffee lovers. You can get a massage here too (see the photo below). This budget hotel in Chiang mai is also a place where musicians come to play. On Sunday, there's live music played here. Check it out on the website: www.thegardenchiangmai.com
